Noor Hidayah Binti Musa
Hidayah was previously the Head of Department (HOD) for Messrs. Abdul Rahman & Partners (Melaka Branch) and has been leading the branch’s operation for many years with her leadership qualities. She is not only in charge of the legal files but also spearheaded the administrative side of the firm to ensure that business functionality is up to the standard of the clients and firm’s management. Determination is her strength and she values efficiency in her work to establish a level of performance which is second to none.
She was called to the Malaysian Bar in October 2013 after completing her pupillage at Messrs Faisal Azian & Co., Perak before joining the Firm in 2015 where she gained vast experience in litigation matters especially in Debt Recovery and Banking Litigation, such as Civil proceedings, Foreclosure proceedings, executions proceedings (included Garnishee proceedings, Judgment Debtor Summon, Writ Seizure & Sale etc), Bankruptcy proceedings and Winding-up proceedings.
Her experience includes :
- Lead counsel in a litigation for a commercial bank in a dispute over the issuance of a redemption statement;
- Lead counsel in an accident matter involving a minor for a well‑known corporate organization in Malaysia;
- Lead counsel for a sewerage company over a dispute in relation to sewerage charges;
- Lead counsel for a political figure in Malaysia involving disputes over the compensation related to land acquisition against the Government of Malaysia;
- Acted and advised various financial institutions in Malaysia on debt recovery assignment including but not limited to hire and purchase, property financing and personal financing;
- Acted for a local University to recover debts due and owning for breaching study leave agreement and staff loan to former employee; and
- Acted on behalf of corporate organization in a foreclosure action involving multi‑million ringgit disputes against a Malaysian development company.
Hidayah was appointed as Partner in the Firm in 2024 and mainly practices from the Melaka branch.
