Abdul Rahman & Partners celebrated its 40th Anniversary. Four decades of unwavering commitment to excellence, integrity and trusted legal service. The Firm has grown from its humble beginnings into one of Malaysia’s respected full-service law firms, built on enduring client relationships, professional excellence and an unwavering dedication to justice.

2024
Abdul Rahman & Partners established the Penang Branch located at George Town, the capital of Pulau Pinang to meet the needs and demands in the Northern Region of Malaysia.
2023
Abdul Rahman & Partners relocated to their own purpose built complex in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur.
2020-2021
Edham was selected as a Fulbright Visiting Scholar recipient and was hosted at KOGOD School of Business, American University, Washington DC.
2017
Listed in Legal 500 listing Asia Pacific Region. Ezam Shah & Edham Reza Shah continue their late father’s legacy and became the Joint Managing Partners of the firm.
2016
Establishment of the Rayshah Professional Development Centre in Putrajaya.
2011
Edham Reza Shah named as Leading Lawyer (Asset & Fund Management, Corporate & Commercial and Cross Border) by Islamic Finance News.
2010
The Firm is named Leading Islamic Finance Law Firm in Asia by Asian Legal Business.
2009
Edham Reza Shah named as Leading Lawyer (Asset & Fund Management, Corporate & Commercial and Cross Border) by Islamic Finance News.
2007
Establishes its fifth office in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia following increasing clientele demands; Edham Reza Shah joined the Firm as a partner and headed the Kuala Lumpur office.
2006
Abdul Rahman & Associates adopts its new name Abdul Rahman & Partners.
2005
Introduces Islamic Finance & Takaful Division at all its branches.
2001
Formation of the fourth office takes place in Johor Bahru, the state capital of Johor providing both domestic and foreign clients strategic access to Singapore’s corporations and notable clients.
1999
First successful venture out of Johor and into the state of Melaka following requests by clients. Branch was headed by Ezam Shah bin Dato’ Abdul Rahman.
1988
The Firm branches out to Pontian, Johor following rising demand in the banking and financial sector.
1985
Dato’ Abdul Rahman Bin Abdullah establishes Abdul Rahman & Associates in the town of Batu Pahat, Johor.
